3. I love what I see!

When did you last look in the mirror and admire yourself and your body?
We are used to looking at ourselves critically because it is thought that many things about us are not perfect.
With pole dancing, you have the opportunity to gain a new perspective on yourself. What might feel unfamiliar and perhaps even uncomfortable at first, training in minimal clothing in front of a mirror, has the potential to change you. When we regularly look at ourselves during pole dancing and experience over time how beautiful our bodies can look in motion, we can change our thoughts about ourselves. We develop a new self-confidence because we now have control over our „beauty“.

In this context, Pole Dance should also be a clear commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as to the recognition and respect of sex workers and strippers. Because loving and accepting oneself has a lot to do with accepting and loving others as they are.

Empower yourself, we're here to support you!

There is more than one type of pole dance

Do you automatically associate Pole Dance with Strip Dance?
Dancing sexily is one option, but it's far from the only one. If you don't feel comfortable with a sensual dance style with heels, pole dancing offers a choice of many acrobatic tricks up the pole, as found in pole sport, or classes around the pole with contemporary, breakdance and hip-hop influences, or tango and ballet figures.
You can find many examples of different dance styles on Instagram, and we've listed a small selection below that couldn't be more diverse: Gaby Borroyo, DimaArt, Suen Lee, Kevin Kev Avosani, Yvonne Smink,  Ashley Fox, MaleiykaM, Danaerial, Mitya Staev, Teresa Rodríguez and Matthew.
In our Schedule you will also find a selection of various styles.

5. Boost your creativity

Imagine this: dancing doesn't just improve your sense of rhythm, it also enhances your musicality and your ability to express emotions through movement. With pole dancing, a further dimension is added – you don't just move on the floor, but conquer the space in the air, learning to maintain your orientation upside down on a spinning pole. This creates entirely new connections in your brain, improving your coordination and creative thinking.

Scientific studies show that exercise boosts neuroplasticity – in other words, your brain’s ability to adapt and find new ways of thinking. Researchers at Stanford University have found that physical activity boosts divergent thinking by up to 60%, which means you become more flexible in your thinking and find new solutions more quickly. That’s exactly what happens with pole dancing: you try out new moves, combine tricks in your own way and develop a style that’s entirely your own.

You can do more than you think!
